So many southern Arizonans represent themselves in court. Together, we can help them do that more effectively and successfully. Overview: VLP is currently offering nearly all of its regular programs and clinics, having successfully pivoted to online, remote, and virtual delivery of legal services in Volunteers now serve clients in 14 clinics and programs in four major areas of the law, and can accept clients for full or limited scope representation in many more areas of the law.
SALA covers your malpractice insurance, reimburses certain costs, and provides training and mentors. Your pro bono hours can count towards Arizona CLE hours. All scheduling is done online. Experienced volunteer attorneys are available to mentor and train new volunteers. Provide experienced federal court litigators who volunteer at the District Court in Phoenix to advise people who are representing themselves in civil cases in the District Court. VLP recruits, trains, coordinates, and supports volunteer lawyers to assist children, families, and adults who have civil not criminal legal issues and cannot afford legal help.

SDVLP assists undocumented children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by a parent, and who are eligible for legal permanent residency under the Special Immigrant Juvenile Status SIJS provision of federal law. SDVLP relies upon volunteers like you. Whether you are a law firm, lawyer, law student or paralegal, you have the ability to change a life.
