Flirt by Laurell K. Hit List by Laurell K. What will Merry and the Sluagh do about avenging Sholto, what will it mean in practice being Queen of the Sluagh, and especially the next mirror call with Andais.

And of course what dirty work Taranis will do to stop Aisling being crowned king. The world is well developed, the magic and gods were solid and I think this could easily be a series, a trilogy at the very least, I liked the end and really want to know how the couple get on and grow, also their adventures in such a magic filled world.

I, too, would love to see this develop into a series. I have enjoyed Anita and Merry, so this one surprised and pleased me. I wish she would write a sequil to this. I read this many years ago. The ending was so imcomplete. There were so many loose threads and unanswered questions. I remembered this book recently, I did I vast internet search for it because I had forgotten the title.

I was desperately hoping a swquil had ben written, but no. To be honest this is the only book she has written that has even caught my attention. I borrowed it from a fellow college student.

I think I will track down my own copy. All I have to say is where is the full series!???? This is a fantastic book and I want more! I know that by now, this is boring to you. However, having a series to this book would be awesome!! Everyone wants to find out if Belor is found safe; will Lothor and Keleios make the marriage work; will Keleios kill Nesbit??

There are so many questions that are left unanswered!! Not a member of Pastebin yet? Sign Up , it unlocks many cool features! Young Kelios has a dream of her mother being killed by the evil witch Harque, and the dream unfortunately is realized. Her prophetic powers are discovered. This first novel by Ms. Keleios the Half-Elf was but five years old when she saw her mother murdered by the evil witch Harque. Just wanted to get the point across that this is in a special class of its own.

Read and enjoy! Nightseer was an ok read but it was certainly far from a wonderful or compelling read. Keleios was the typical unstoppable sorceress main character. The wounds she takes, and lives from, the enemies she fights, and the magic she spells is all straight from a Dungeons and Dragons video game.

Rinse and repeat through the novel. Also, what was with her relationship with Lothar? Did she want to kill him? Was she slowly growing to like him? And Nesbit? I thought he was a major villain that needed killing? But no, he is Keleios' brother-in-law and we never see him ever again Nesbit screams for a sequel down the line but we shall see All in all it was a average read but this was Hamiltons first novel, and it shows.

When her debut novel was recently re-released I naturally picked it up, expecting to find the 'prototype' of the Blake series. I was more than a little surprised to find that "Nightseer" was in another genre entirely and that Laurell Hamilton is capable of excellent traditional fantasy.

One can see hints of Anita in Keleios Nightseer, but for the most part it is as if we had stepped into an entirely different world. Noble half elf Keleios is endowed with three magical powers. Originally she was a master enchanter and a skilled prophet. Suddenly she demonstrated powers as a sorcerer, and has had to relinquish her master rank and return to the school at Zeln's Keep to learn to control her new power. When Keleios was a child her mother was destroyed by the black witch Harque.

In Keleios' quest for revenge she has walked the pit of Hell, and bears the mark of demonic corruption. Although she is not comfortable with the taint, she is able to control both black and white disciplines. In addition, she is also expert with weapons, particularly those bespelled or enchanted. Entering a state of prophecy in the dreaming rooms at Zeln's Keep, Keleios has a horrible vision, the Keep under attack and destroyed, many of the residents enslaved or killed.
