Very healthy company and successful family business. Trainings are excellent. My experience at Liz is one I will never forget. It has all to do with my direct report she made work life balance amazing and understood that work is a priority but it is not everything!! Her encouragement and work disciplines I have carried with me at each job opportunity. I was able to get my Management start here at LCI. I had geat mentor and awesome team. I traveled 2 times per year and learned a lot visiting other sites.
Pros Benefits. Cons Short Breaks. I thoroughly enjoyed working for Liz Claiborne. My direct report and I worked well together. The staff was a pleasure as well. I basically oversaw the 3 Regional offices together with my boss and we had tremendous success. Pros Regional office. Cons commute. Worked with Claiboards design boards , managed travel, conference meetings, scheduled calls, reviewed fitting meetings, made fabric changes, Lack of communication among leadership team that filtered down to administrative personnel.

I worked there at a time when the fashion industry was booming. I truly enjoyed everyone I worked with. My working environment was wonderful and I really got the chance to grow in my carrer. Enjoyed working for the company and would recommend to others. However, company has changed over time so I am sure that some things are different at this point.

The Robert C. Norman Scholarship was established by alumni friends and colleagues in honor of Assistant Professor Communication Robert C.
Norman who retired after 34 years of teaching and directing the Communication Internship Program. The scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in Communication and the Arts on the basis of financial need and academic excellence.
Awards are for one year and are in memory of Dr. Edwin Ulrich. Awarded to students from the Hudson Valley that major in business or the fine arts at Marist. Awards are available based both on talent and financial need. Auditions must be completed by February Incoming students may audition for instrumental or vocal scholarships prior to their admission to Marist College. All students must audition in person, please do not send audio or visual recordings in lieu of a live audition.
