It isn't isolated to the Artrage installation, and I did confirm the download was clean. Unsuccessful solution posted below: Hi Evilgnome, As a first step of troubleshooting, I would suggest you to rename the msisip. Under the Programs list, right click on msisip. Now right click on the msisip.
Rename it to msisip. Note: If you get access permission, then take the ownership of the file and then try to rename it. This should do it. If this did not work, then try upgrading your Windows Installer package Windows Installer version 4.
Before you download and upgrade the Windows Installer, use the Windows Cleanup Utility to clean the partial installation of the program. Mouneshwar R — Microsoft Support.

In this article. The available entity body is copied along with the request headers. All of the entity bodies are copied along with the request headers. One or more of the supplied parameters points to an invalid or unaligned memory buffer.
The value of RequestBufferLength is greater than or equal to the size of the request header received, but is not as large as the combined size of the request structure and entity body.
The buffer size required to read the remaining part of the entity body is returned in the pBytesReceived parameter if this is non- NULL and if the call is synchronous. Call the function again with a large enough buffer to retrieve all data. The specified request has already been completely retrieved; in this case, the value pointed to by pBytesReceived is not meaningful, and pRequestBuffer should not be examined.
WMP still crashes always immediately after I try to open it up. System Restore isn't an option because the WMP issue is very old. With all of those problems I would recommend reinstalling Vista. Backup your data first. What brand and model PC do you have?
Dell Dimension? Do you have a recovery disc or partition? Vista really does suck. My PC is custom built, I built it using the hardware in my sig and with Vista I used it for a couple years though, installing a bunch of programs and stuff. I have extra hard drives that I could use to store backup images if I needed them, if that's what you are asking?
Is there any way to reinstall Vista and then automatically recover all my old programs that were installed? So that I don't have to install every program again. Or somehow have Vista intalled on top of my current install so that it just repairs it?
