Antlr tool noclassdeffounderror

It seems the "antlr4-runtime" and "antlr4" artefacts aren't complete between the two, and i need the extra org. In trying to use previous runtimes antlr 3. I'd like to release my plugin to the wild, but at the moment it requires downloading the complete jar manually instead of being able to use it straight from an external repository, which isn't very project friendly.

Maybe I'm missing something simple, sorry if I am. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:. Maven works by transitively downloading dependencies, so distributing a "complete" jar file through that mechanism is discouraged. The antlr4-runtime artifact declares all of the necessary dependencies for running ANTLR 4 parsers, and the antlr4-maven-plugin artifact declares all of the necessary dependencies for generating ANTLR 4 parsers from grammars during a Maven build.

If you are using the Maven jars within another context, you'll need to download all of the transitive dependencies, which you'll find declared in all of the involved POMs. The latest version of ST4 is 4. Sorry, something went wrong. Thanks for the feedback sharwell. Turned out I had turned off the transitive flag for my custom gradle configuration, so it was specifically not looking for them.

Once it was on, the correct dependencies were found and it's compiling again. I have the same probelm i am using the antlr dependency from maven for my eclipse plugin when i execute the plugin it shows the followin error.

PluginManager - JDK: 1. Contributor Author. Additional Information. Caused by: org. I've reinstalled plugin and all my grammars opens without issue. I think this is IDEA internal config problem, when i copied it. Sign up for free to join this conversation on GitHub. Already have an account? Sign in to comment. Linked pull requests.
